International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI)
SPDC is a member of the the IFPRI Advisory Group. IFPRI seeks sustainable solutions for ending hunger and poverty. It is one of 15 centers supported by the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research, an alliance of 64 governments, private foundations, and international and regional organizations. In 2002, IFPRI launched the South Asia Initiative.
South Asia Network of Economic Research Institutes (SANEI)
SPDC is a part of SANEI that aims to establish strong research inter-linkages among diverse economic research institutes in the South Asian region, which would help initiate new collaborative ventures/researches and help SPDC disseminate and market its research. SANEI has a total membership of 48 research institutions in the South Asia region. There are 11 research institutes from Bangladesh, 22 from India, 3 from Nepal, 7 from Pakistan and 5 from Sri Lanka.
Governance Institutes Networks
SPDC is a member of Governance Institutes Network International (GINI) Governance Curriculum & Executive Education Network. The Managing Director chairs the sub-committee constituted on research.
British Council, GTZ, Lead Pakistan, Proman and ODI
SPDC is part of consortium which is undertaking Europe Aid funded project ‘Technical Support for Sindh Education Plan Support Programme’. The consortium is led by the British Council Pakistan. Others partners include Lead Pakistan, GTZ International Services, Proman and Overseas Development Institute (ODI).
RNE, The Researcher, Pakistan Center for Philanthropy
SPDC was part of consortium which undertook Formative Research on Women Economic Empowerment Project of the Norwegian Embassy. Other partners of the consortium were The Researchers and Pakistan Cnetre for Philanthropy.
